Regiewijzers Summer Event 2026: maintaining joint control in a world that keeps moving

Everything around us is in motion. Organizations are changing, IT landscapes are growing in complexity, and more and more parties are involved in delivering and managing IT services. This dynamic requires more than isolated dashboards, consultation structures, or contractual agreements. It requires cohesive control.

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, Regiewijzers, SourceMinds, and their partners are organizing the Regiewijzers Summer Event. An interactive afternoon in which professionals explore together how to effectively organize overview, collaboration, and decision-making in a continuously changing IT environment.

Why this event is relevant

In many organizations, information is fragmented across teams, suppliers, and tools. Strategy, actions, and results are often present, but not always connected. As a result, it becomes difficult to adjust quickly and jointly, even though daily reality demands exactly that.

During this event, one central question takes center stage: how do you ensure that your IT environment remains aligned and functional, while everything keeps moving?

The answer lies in combining Joint Steering, Working, and Learning, visually and organizationally supported by Obeya, and substantively reinforced with Observability.

Program: from insight to applicability

  • Introduction by Ronald Hoogeboom (Regiewijzers) and Joep van Dorp (SourceMinds) On steering in motion and the necessity of coherence in strategy, execution, and insight.
  • Joint Steering, Working, and Learning with Obeya – Tim Wiegel (Leading with Obeya) How do you set up an Obeya as a shared space where strategy, actions, and results come together? And how does this help to steer jointly with multiple parties?
  • Continuous overview with Observability – Marcel Schipper (MeasureWorks) Practical insights into how observability offers chain transparency within complex IT environments and SIAM structures. Maintaining control over performance, risks, and collaboration with objective data.
  • Interactive session – Sjaak Weststrate (Regiewijzers) Together, participants translate Obeya and Observability to their own organizational context: what does this mean concretely for your governance setup?

The afternoon concludes with an informal networking reception featuring a barbecue and (non-alcoholic) cocktails, because good collaboration also arises outside the meeting table.

SourceMinds' contribution

SourceMinds is a co-organizer of this event, drawing on our daily practice in IT sourcing, contract and supplier management, SIAM, and IT governance. We observe with clients that governance only truly works when:

  • strategic goals are visible and shared
  • performance becomes measurable and open for discussion
  • collaboration between client and suppliers is based on transparency

The combination of Obeya and Observability aligns seamlessly with this and forms a powerful foundation for future-proof governance.

Who is this event for?

  • IT managers and governance officers
  • Sourcing and supplier managers
  • Contract and service managers
  • Professionals working in multi-vendor IT environments

Moving forward together

The Regiewijzers Summer Event is not a classic conference, but an afternoon where thinking, doing, and sharing come together. The goal: to help organizations maintain control today *and* keep looking ahead.

Are you working on IT governance, sourcing, or collaboration in a multi-vendor environment? Discover how Obeya and Observability reinforce each other in practice and how to apply this in your organization.
