To realize this ambition, SourceMinds supported the organization in the implementation of NEN 7510 and the further professionalization of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_column_1_3 et_pb_column et_pb_column_1  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_column_empty\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_section et_pb_section_1 et_pb_with_background  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_section_regular et_block_section\" >\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_row et_pb_row_1  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et_block_row\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_d4_element et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column et_pb_column_2  et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode et-last-child et_block_column\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_2  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p><strong>The Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The baseline assessment revealed that the technical security measures within Inovum were largely in order. The biggest challenge lay in structurally securing and demonstrating information security within the organization. Policies, governance, processes, and responsibilities were only formally documented to a limited extent, while the requirements surrounding NEN 7510, GDPR, and future NIS2 obligations were becoming increasingly important.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our approach<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SourceMinds guided Inovum throughout the entire improvement process, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting a baseline assessment and gap analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting a roadmap and implementation plan.<\/li>\n<li>Developing policy documents and policy frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Setting up an ISMS in accordance with NEN 7510.<\/li>\n<li>Developing vendor, cloud, and access security policies.<\/li>\n<li>Providing support with governance, risk analyses, and audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Assurance and Adoption<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to drafting policies and setting up the ISMS, the emphasis was on sustainably embedding information security within the organization. This meant that roles, responsibilities, and consultation structures were refined so that information security does not remain dependent on isolated initiatives but becomes part of regular governance and decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Attention was also paid to adoption within the organization. By actively involving stakeholders, making policies practically applicable, and increasing awareness, support is created among management, process owners, and employees. As a result, NEN 7510 becomes not just a compliance process, but a way of working that aligns with Inovum's daily practice.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Result<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inovum beschikt inmiddels over een samenhangend stelsel van beleid, processen en beheersmaatregelen waarmee informatiebeveiliging structureel wordt aangestuurd en geborgd. Het traject heeft geleid tot een volwassenere governance, een aantoonbaar werkend ISMS en een stevige basis voor NEN 7510-compliance en toekomstige externe audits.
