The existing integration layer no longer met the requirements that a modern, cloud-driven organization places on scalability, agility, and manageability. SourceMinds guided VGZ throughout this selection and contracting process.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Approach<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SourceMinds supported the process through a carefully structured vendor selection, in which both the substantive requirements and the organizational context of VGZ took center stage. The selection was aimed at choosing a partner who could not only deliver technically but also contribute to sustainable adoption and knowledge retention within the organization.<\/p>\n<p>The approach combined structure, transparency, and dialogue, enabling VGZ to make well-founded choices throughout the process.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Supplier selection and contracting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The selection and contracting process for the IT services was guided by SourceMinds through a number of logically sequential steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mapping the needs, based on the existing integration environment and the desired future configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Drawing up a longlist of potential suppliers that aligned with VGZ's substantive requirements and organizational culture.<\/li>\n<li>Sharing an information package in which the scope, objectives, and preconditions were clearly defined.<\/li>\n<li>Organizing and facilitating dialogue sessions with selected suppliers to deepen insights and further refine the request.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting and issuing the RFP.<\/li>\n<li>Assessing the submitted proposals based on established criteria, including interviews and substantive explanations.<\/li>\n<li>Guiding the decision-making process regarding the supplier selection.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting contract finalization and documenting agreements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Throughout the process, SourceMinds monitored the coherence between strategy, content, and decision-making, acting as an independent advisor and director in doing so.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Result<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Based on a carefully conducted selection process, VGZ has chosen a partner that aligns with its ambitions regarding integration, cloud, and platformization.
